UF Health Shands Hospital

More than 1,200 expert UF College of Medicine and community physicians along with more than 9,000 skilled UF Health Shands nursing and support staff provide comprehensive high-quality patient care, from primary care to urgent care and from the treatment of simple medical conditions to highly complex conditions.

The faculty from the UF College of Medicine includes nationally and internationally recognized health care providers whose expertise is supported by intensive research activities. They continue to pursue the latest medical knowledge and technology, which is available to patients at UF Health Shands thanks to the UF College of Medicine’s affiliation with the UF Health Science Center.
